TYPOLOGY

konstantin is a 5'7 person of unknown age, but presumably somewhere around 30-40. chi notes him to be spiritually disconnected and lacking in spiritual depth.

konstantin does not remember what year they were born or their last name. they only remember their first name, mostly because chi forced them to remember. he remembers nothing about his past except his fears and a feeling of corruption and guilt that stains his soul.

konstantin is afraid of uncertainty and this bleeds into... SO many of the things he does

as a person, konstantin aims to lead others and take care of them out of fear for what his instinct tells him that the world is. she aims to guide others out of instinct/a deep-seated anxiety that himself and others are truly alone in the world. this fear drives him to advise and look after the others in the hotel. she projects confidence and grace not out of true self-assurance, but out of fear that if she doesn't do it, nobody else will. konstantin feels as if any benevolent, kind being has turned their back on the world and left him alone. because of their immense capacity for cruelty, this leads konstantin to turn to kindness.

they lack any forgiveness for himself for mistakes. he believes there is no grace, and that he must bear the burden of forgiving others out of a desire to help them improve as a service. he makes himself the benevolent being he desires to see in the world. because she believes nobody is watching and there is no judgment and the world is uncaring (note: NOT MALICIOUS, JUST UNCARING), she uses this as motivation to watch over others. she lacks true joy due to a constant feeling of unworthiness and shame.

despite wanting others to change, he believes (.... completely contradictory) that they (and himself) are incapable of change because they are human. she believes people are misled and misguided by the world around them into developing shells of cruelty, but lacks faith in himself to enact true change. he condemns terrible actions in others because he cannot forgive himself for actions he doesn't remember. they truly feel as if judgment of others is their responsibility, but are paralyzed and overwhelmed by the weight of their sense of justice. they lack any strong faith or beliefs in others and humanity, shepherding them while ironically believing that they will not change or are not capable of wanting to change or wanting good things for themselves.

he tried to join a religion or practice religion in the sanctity of the hotel, but lacks complete faith, not only in others or any god, but himself. he doesn't believe he has the capacity to change or be anything different. she also doesn't believe that any religious leaders would want good things for anyone but themselves. konstantin does not believe in true selflessness and kindness, not even in herself.

above all else, konstantin desires peace and tranquility, but does not trust herself nor others enough to seek it and keep it for herself.

konstantin does not have many hobbies besides walking and working out. he cooks and collects food for the other people in the hotel. his food, however, is described by nash to be bland and flavorless, which is why nash usually is trusted to season and taste the food appropriately.

konstantin's ideal self is still benevolent and forgiving, but having true and complete faith in others to change. he loves both himself and the people around him: with forgiveness and kindness. she believes that humanity is constantly changing and tends more towards good and can be redeemed. they allow things to flow; trust that people will receive the weight of their actions in the form of self-judgment, and trust that people know what is good for them when it is right.
